Heraeus Electro-Nite of Hartland held their annual chili cook off recently. I was invited to be a judge with Rob Little, Eric Schlehlein, Jeff Vernon, and Nick Shimel. All of us work for Hartland Fire Department which was great for us to be involved in something like this. All the chili in the contest were home made recipes that the employees at the business made. The company used lunch as the taste testing time for a competition with in the business. This was an awesome opportunity to go test out some amazing chili. There were about 12 different varieties to test, from hot and spicy to flavorful venison chili. Overall I thought it was a great event and a good team building opportunity for the company. Congratulations to the winners.
